Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies we use, why, and how you decide. Last updated: 29 October 2026.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, work in a comparable way; this policy covers them too. The controller is Megaprint Transfers Ltd, the company behind Calffa (UIC (EIK) 148051297, VAT number BG148051297, Gustav Vaigand 9, 9000 Varna, Bulgaria).

2. Your choice

On your first visit a banner lets you accept all, reject the optional cookies, or choose per category. Strictly necessary cookies are always active, because the website does not work without them. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you agree. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page; withdrawal does not affect anything that happened before it.

3. Strictly necessary cookies

  • calffa-session — keeps your session (cart, login, form security). Expires after 2 hours of inactivity.
  • XSRF-TOKEN — protects forms against forged requests. Session.
  • remember_web_… — only if you tick “Remember me” when logging in; keeps you logged in. Up to 400 days.
  • calffa_cookie_consent — stores your cookie choice. 12 months.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile — security check on our forms (login, registration, contact, quote request) against bots; may use technical cookies on Cloudflare’s domain.
  • calffa:prices-incl-vat (local storage) — remembers whether you chose to see prices including VAT. Until you clear your browser data.

4. Analytics cookies — only with your consent

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd): _ga and _ga_… — anonymous statistics on how the website is used. 2 years.
  • Hotjar (Hotjar Ltd, Malta): _hjSessionUser_… (1 year) and _hjSession_… (30 minutes) — how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling, page flow), so we can improve them.

5. Marketing cookies — only with your consent

  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd): _fbp and _fbc — measuring and showing relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. 3 months.
  • Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd): _gcl_au (3 months) and Google’s own advertising cookies on its domains — measuring the results of our ads and showing relevant ads.

These providers may process data outside the EU on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. More in their own policies: Google, Hotjar, Meta.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Google offers an opt-out add-on for Google Analytics. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website (cart, login, forms) will not work.
